above) prove that it reduces HDD temperatures by as much as 6°C, over those operating temperatures where the HDD in not enclosed. The SMART DRIVE NEO
is finished in a special sprayed coating used to transfer heat away more quickly and efficiently. Our test results proved that this finish reduced the operating heat
from an enclosed HDD by 2°C. The black coating is not just for outside appearance, it is more an effective endothermic feature of the enclosure.
